Using a proprietary FEA tool (FEMAP), EMS can assist your ship design team in solving signature problems associated with E-Drive, ICCP, ASG and Degaussing.

FEMAP or Finite Element Modeling and Analysis Package is the state of the art in Electro/Magnetic Signature Management. It provides the ability to accurately create detailed 3-D models of any vessel hull design on the desktop. FEMAP’s in depth modeling capability considers all aspects of vessel construction affecting electric and magnetic signature. Details such as type and thickness of construction materials, location of decks, bulkheads and other structural elements, as well as electronic systems and propulsion system (type and precise location of all components).

This data and model are then used as the basis for the electro/magnetic silencing equipment design resulting in the lowest possible signature for your ship.
